Esma Hebbar

After two years studying Physics and Engineering Sciences in Marseille, Esma is currently in her second year of engineering school, at the École Nationale Supérieure de Cognitique, ENSC, located on the Talence campus. She is learning how to design intuitive and accessible digital services, combining a user-centered approach with technical skills in UX design and web and mobile development.

Esma joined Vertigo Lab in May 2025 for a four-month internship, contributing to the fullstack development and improvement of our ImpacTer tool. Her experience has enabled her to strengthen her commitment to inclusive, sustainable, and meaningful technologies, while broadening her understanding of social and environmental challenges.

Garance Renaut

Garance joined Vertigo Lab in April 2025 for an internship focused on ecosystem services and territorial impacts. This internship is part of her studies within the Magistère in Economics at the University of Bordeaux (MAGEVAL). She enhanced her academic background with a semester abroad at the University of Melbourne where she took courses in environmental economics and global environmental politics, and with an internship at INSEE working on regional economic trends. Passionate about ecological transition and territorial dynamics, she also conducted a field study on the local socio-economic impacts of the Cigéo nuclear waste disposal project.

Mathis Gillio

Mathis is a graduate scientist in ecological and environmental sciences from the University of Edinburgh. Convinced by the necessity to combine scientific expertise with public policy, Mathis pursued his studies by completing a double master’s in environmental science and policy at Science Po Paris and Sorbonne Université (UPMC). Being passionate about territorial political action, he carried out two internships during his masters’ gap year. He first worked for ADEME, the French agency for ecological transition, where he contributed to building-up and financing local-led research programs. His then worked at LISIS, a research laboratory specialised in Science and Technology Studies and associated to INRAE, where he studied the role of prefects, the highest civil-servant figures at the sub-national scale, regarding water management in France. He joined Vertigo Lab for his masters’ internship in February 2025.

Laura Bondu

Laura holds an engineering degree in industrial production management from Centrale Lille and a Master of Sciences from Skema Business School in Project management. She developed deep experience in project and logistics management in the industrial sector in the first ten years of her career.

In 2020, she specialized in territorial development linked with agricultural and food topics. She then worked for the French Ministry of Agriculture to oversee and support agriculture and food projects led by French territories, focusing on their logistics topics. She subsequently joined a consulting company as a project manager, where she developed food proximity projects. Before joining Vertigo Lab, she finally worked for the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine on programs funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) to support farmers’ investments with a focus on agroecology and sustainable agriculture development.

Alexanne Fritsch

Alexanne graduated from AgroParisTech (agronomy engineering university) with a master in agroecology, as well as from the Institut Catholique de Paris with a master’s degree in environmental policies and sustainable development management.

After several experiences in CSR consulting for the private and public sector, she chose to focus on the nature and biodiversity issues in the agri-food industry. Her profile can both fit for companies and public sector, with experiences on SBTN and CSRD processes.

Driven by the challenges of agriculture and biodiversity, she joined Vertigo Lab to support the team on biodiversity and ecosystem services issues.

Emma Cantet

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Ecological Transition Management and Circular Economy from Montpellier Management, Emma spent two years working with SNCF Voyageurs TER Occitanie, where she conducted carbon footprint analyses for Regional Express Trains (TER). She was responsible for regional carbon assessments and contributed to raising staff awareness on the challenges of ecological transition. As part of the Vertigo Lab team, Emma seeks to contribute to the assessment of the climate and socio-economic impacts of organizations, particularly within the framework of CSRD reporting.

Jade Massoutier

A former student in ecology engineering, specialised in the management and restoration of ecosystems, and also holding a master’s degree in biotechnology engineering, Jade is passionate about nature restoration projects and how ecosystems interact with each other.

Before joining Vertigo Lab at the end of 2024 as a Consultant-Researcher in the Biodiversity & Climate division, Jade was a CSR consultant, working on structuring biodiversity strategies and developing eco-design models. Her previous experience in marketing and as a data analyst in finance and market research gives her a cross-disciplinary view of projects.

A committed environmentalist, she has also completed a Permaculture Design Certificate and is a speaker for FERUS, an association for the protection and conservation of large predators.

Elsa Maurice

With a strong background in chemical engineering and process engineering (CPE Lyon), complemented by a master’s degree in Life Cycle Analysis from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, Elsa is a recognized expert in environmental strategy consulting, a field in which she has been working for over 9 years. Drawing on her experiences at CIRAIG in Montreal and the consulting firm Quantis, she recently joined Vertigo Lab to support public and private actors on critical issues such as biodiversity, water management, and climate change.

Her expertise spans environmental impact assessment, risk and opportunity management, as well as dependencies related to international requirements (SBTN, TNFD, CSRD). She brings a rigorous scientific vision, grounded in planetary boundaries, to help territories and companies transform their economic models.

Elsa works in various sectors such as agriculture, energy, chemicals, apparel, and construction, navigating through complex value chains and diverse stakeholders. In addition to her technical skills, she regularly facilitates multi-stakeholder workshops and is trained in several tools to raise awareness of environmental issues, such as the Climate Fresk, the Biodiversity Fresk, and the 2 Tons Workshop, further strengthening her role as a committed actor for the ecological transition.

Emma Godemet

Emma Godemet is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis, complemented by a Magister’s degree in Public Policy and Development Analysis from the University of Bordeaux. This training has enabled her to develop in-depth expertise in economics, statistics and evaluation methods, specializing in quantitative and qualitative approaches to public policy analysis. Before joining the Vertigo Lab team in September 2024 for her first internship during it’s gap year, Emma enriched her knowledge in various fields such as environmental and social economics. At VertigoLab, she focuses mainly on the evaluation of the agroecological transition and food resilience issues within the Agriculture and Food division. 

Bruno Chambon

Bruno Chambon holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Lyon, as well as a Master’s degree in Ecological Transition and CSR from the Institut Supérieur de l’Environnement.

Bruno has worked in the field of territorial public policy as Permanent secretary. Bruno also has acquired experience as Photovoltaic Territory Manager for a renewable energy developer. After resuming his studies in the field of ecological transition, he completed a work-study program as CSR Project Manager. His diverse experiences enables him to grasp the different components of the projects he works on.

Since joining Vertigo Lab in 2024, he has been working on issues related to agrivoltaics.
