Caroline Pontier

Caroline, who holds a Master 1 in Economics and Languages (Paris and Porstmouth, UK) and a Master 2 in Management from Skema Business School, began her career in the CSR department of a major group, before becoming a microfinance consultant in Latin America, managing field teams and working on quality standards. She then worked in the energy sector in Paris, deploying smart grid solutions, building up a network of partners and different distribution channels, while raising public awareness of the energy transition.
She then joined a start-up for the commercial development of its non-intrusive measurement technology, negotiating key contracts with major building managers and CAC 40 groups, as well as coordinating AO projects on the coasts of partners specialized in energy efficiency.
Caroline then trained in the challenges of agricultural and food transition at AgroParis Tech, Rennes Business School and ESA, and joined the Conseil National pour la Résilience Alimentaire (CNRA), where she developed and led a network of over 100 members, all of whom are project’s and innovative solution’s holders for more resilient agricultural and food systems. Caroline also leads a multidisciplinary working group, alongside experts in agroecology, hydrology, biodiversity and eco-agricultural systems.
At the beginning of 2024, she decided to join Vertigo Lab to steer the development and deployment of our research-action programs and build strategic partnerships for our territorial economy, agriculture and biodiversity clusters.
