Elsa Maurice

With a strong background in chemical engineering and process engineering (CPE Lyon), complemented by a master’s degree in Life Cycle Analysis from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, Elsa is a recognized expert in environmental strategy consulting, a field in which she has been working for over 9 years. Drawing on her experiences at CIRAIG in Montreal and the consulting firm Quantis, she recently joined Vertigo Lab to support public and private actors on critical issues such as biodiversity, water management, and climate change.

Her expertise spans environmental impact assessment, risk and opportunity management, as well as dependencies related to international requirements (SBTN, TNFD, CSRD). She brings a rigorous scientific vision, grounded in planetary boundaries, to help territories and companies transform their economic models.

Elsa works in various sectors such as agriculture, energy, chemicals, apparel, and construction, navigating through complex value chains and diverse stakeholders. In addition to her technical skills, she regularly facilitates multi-stakeholder workshops and is trained in several tools to raise awareness of environmental issues, such as the Climate Fresk, the Biodiversity Fresk, and the 2 Tons Workshop, further strengthening her role as a committed actor for the ecological transition.
