Study of higly beneficial practices in favour of a sustainable and solidarity-based food system, in particular market gardening

In February 2021, Vertigo Lab and Let’s Food Cities were designated by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region to identify socially and ecologically useful practices in favour of sustainable and fair food systems. At the heart of the Neo Terra roadmap of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, the study results will feed the Agriculture and Food strategy 2021-2025.

First, our team will list sustainable and solidarity-based food projects based in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. After an initial listing of these projects by Let’s Food Cities, Vertigo Lab will conduct in-depth interviews with some of the project leaders. The aim is to assess their territorial impact and their contribution to a sustainable and inclusive food system.

Based on the first phase results, the second phase objective will be to propose to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region ways of improving the support given to these projects. The final ambition is to improve the efficiency of the current regional support system in response to the needs of project leaders.
