Caroline Pontier
Head of Development & Partnerships
Caroline holds a Master's degree 1 in economics and languages (Paris and Portsmouth, UK) and a Master's degree 2 in management from Skema Business School. She began her career in the CSR department of a large corporation before becoming a microfinance consultant in Latin America, managing field teams and working on quality standards. She then worked in Paris in the energy sector, deploying smart grid solutions, building a network of partners and various distribution channels, while raising public awareness about the energy transition.
She then joined a start-up for the commercial development of its non-intrusive measurement technology; she negotiated key contracts with major building managers, CAC 40 groups, and also coordinated tenders alongside partners specialized in energy efficiency.
Caroline then trained on the issues of agricultural and food transition with AgroParis Tech, Rennes Business School, and ESA, and joined the National Council for Food Resilience (CNRA), where she developed and led a network of over 100 members, project holders, and innovative solutions for more resilient agricultural and food systems. Caroline also leads a multidisciplinary working group alongside experts in agroecology, hydrology, biodiversity, and eco-agricultural systems.
She decided at the beginning of 2024 to join Vertigo Lab to lead the development and deployment of our action-research programs and build the strategic partnerships of our sectors: territorial economy, agriculture, and biodiversity.
