Territorial strategy
in agriculture and food
In the face of climate challenges, resource tensions, and food resilience issues, it becomes essential to act more effectively. Our approach is structured in three phases: decipher, reveal, and shift.
Vertigo Lab deciphers territorial dynamics by intersecting economic, agricultural, and environmental dimensions to establish a neutral and objective diagnosis. We then reveal the impacts, dependencies, and contributions, often invisible, to aid decision-making and clarify your priorities. Finally, we help you shift towards action by co-constructing operational territorial strategies tailored to your challenges and those of your ecosystem.
Our goal: to enable you to move from a fragmented understanding to a systemic vision, and from comprehension to the concrete transformation of your territory.
Our services
Evaluation des retombées socio-économiques
Vertigo Lab measures your activity's contribution to the territory. Specifically, we assess the socio-economic impacts of your activities as well as their ripple effects in the local economy. With our ImpacTer tool, we measure direct, indirect, and induced impacts to objectively assess your actual contribution to the territorial economy.
Our analyses can simulate different scenarios for the evolution of your activities and measure their economic and territorial consequences.
Knowing your territorial contribution will allow you to differentiate yourself from your competitors, stand out in responses to calls for proposals, and have a solid argument to communicate with your clients, partners, and the entire ecosystem.
We help you better understand and value the services provided by the ecosystems in your territory: water regulation, carbon storage, soil fertility, biodiversity, landscapes, and recreational and tourism activities.
Based on an ecological and territorial diagnosis, we identify and quantify these services to make visible benefits that are often overlooked in economic and public decisions.
Based on an ecological and territorial diagnosis, Vertigo Lab identifies and quantifies these services to make visible benefits that are often overlooked in economic and public decision-making. Our approach allows for estimating economic orders of magnitude and analyzing the effects of pressures or climate change on these environments.
We thus produce quantified elements and decision-making tools to prioritize preservation or restoration actions and strengthen arguments in favor of protecting life in territorial policies.

Water Resource Planning and Management
Vertigo Lab conducts a territorial diagnosis of water resources, integrating hydrological, agricultural, economic dimensions, and various uses (drinking water, agriculture, industry, biodiversity). This analysis helps identify existing tensions and vulnerabilities in the face of climate change.
Our analyses and decision-making tools prioritize actions and guide territorial strategy within collaborative frameworks such as PTGE (Territorial Project for Water Management),
We support agricultural and food project leaders who wish to accelerate the ecological transition of their activities and sectors while strengthening their economic viability and territorial anchoring.
Food Resilience
We analyze territorial food systems as a whole, at every link in the value chain. This approach allows us to identify dependencies, highlight vulnerabilities, and reveal key levers for action.
We also support local actors in defining their food strategy by constructing approaches tailored to local specificities.
Vertigo Lab works with territorial food projects (PAT) and local actors for the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of their actions to enhance their impacts and tangible effects on the territory.
Finally, we offer training and awareness sessions to help actors better understand the issues and foster a collective dynamic towards action.
