Elsa Maurice
Head of the Biodiversity and Climate Division
With a solid background in chemical engineering and process engineering (CPE Lyon) complemented by a master's degree in Life Cycle Assessment from École Polytechnique de Montréal, Elsa is an expert in environmental strategy consulting, a field she has been working in for over 9 years. Building on her experiences at CIRAIG in Montreal and the Quantis firm, she recently joined Vertigo Lab to support public and private stakeholders on crucial issues such as biodiversity, water management, and climate.
Her expertise covers environmental impact assessment, risk and opportunity management, as well as dependencies related to international requirements (SBTN, TNFD, CSRD). She brings a rigorous scientific vision, grounded in planetary boundaries, to help territories and businesses transform their economic models.
Elsa works in various sectors such as agriculture, energy, chemistry, clothing, and construction, navigating through complex value chains and diverse stakeholders. In addition to her technical skills, she regularly facilitates multi-stakeholder workshops and is trained in several tools for raising awareness about environmental issues, such as the Climate Fresco, the Biodiversity Fresco, or the 2 Tonnes Workshop, thereby strengthening her role as an engaged actor in the ecological transition.
