Assessing the territorial anchoring of an investment portfolio
To complete the ESG analysis of its portfolio, Talence Patrival partnered with EthiFinance and Vertigo Lab to better understand the territorial anchoring of its investments. The need focused on developing a ranking of the portfolio based on the wealth generated by the companies it comprises in France.

An analysis of impacts to compare companies with each other
The study aimed to assess the socio-economic impact in France of a portfolio of approximately 400 groups of companies (comprising over 15 000 subsidiaries located in France). The selected indicators are: added value, number of full-time equivalent jobs, and contribution to public finances.
Vertigo Lab collected capital data from the entire evaluation universe, then estimated the socio-economic impacts of the evaluated companies. A territorial ranking was developed.

A structuring indicator to manage and enhance the portfolio
The mission allowed for the development of a territorial index for the portfolio, as well as facilitating communication with stakeholders, particularly investor clients.
