Evaluation of the impact of the France Relance plan on biodiversity and nature
Context
Vertigo Lab conducted a study aimed at influencing pandemic recovery plans to integrate natural capital into economic decisions and policymakers to direct funding towards the rehabilitation and conservation of biodiversity.
By comparing the approaches of different countries, the study highlights best practices and levers of action to better integrate nature into post-crisis economic recovery.
Le plan France Relance a mobilisé 115 millions d’euros sur deux ans pour la protection des aires protégées et la restauration écologique des milieux naturels, avec un objectif de 900 projets, tout en soutenant la continuité écologique des cours d’eau et la transition agricole durable.

Funded by the MAVA Foundation as part of the "Economics for Nature" program, the study covers Brazil, France, India, and Uganda.
