Double materiality analysis in construction for the Fayat group
Context
Complying with the CSRD by structuring a robust ESG approach
The Fayat Group, one of the major French companies in construction and public works, faced the new European CSRD regulation, which requires companies to publish their ESG impacts. The need focused on structuring a non-financial reporting approach, which had never been done before, to comply with the CSRD requirements while engaging internal and external stakeholders.
service
A comprehensive analysis to structure double materiality in the construction sector
Vertigo Lab analyzed the entire value chain, then defined an action plan integrating a gap analysis between current practices and CSRD requirements. Double materiality matrices were developed to prioritize strategic issues.
BENEFITS
A clear vision to manage ESG issues and meet regulatory requirements
The mission provided a clear vision of priority ESG issues and stakeholder expectations, as well as defining a strategic roadmap to meet CSRD requirements. It also helped identify key stakeholders and necessary actions to structure non-financial reporting, as well as integrating these issues into the Group's overall strategy.
The + Vertigo Lab
ESG expertise and mastery of European regulatory frameworks were mobilized, using a participatory methodology that included internal and external consultations.
