Construction of a biodiversity strategy for companies
Context
Integrating biodiversity at the heart of business strategies
Nine regional companies, including MAIF, participated in a pilot operation to better integrate biodiversity into their activities. This program was launched by Soltena and ARB Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The need was for support for management in co-constructing a biodiversity action plan tailored to their activities while engaging their stakeholders.

Customized support to structure a biodiversity strategy
Vertigo Lab conducted an individualized diagnosis focusing on ecosystem services, impacts, and levers for action, then co-constructed an action plan. Operational support was provided for the implementation of the plan, and commitments were communicated to stakeholders.

Concrete tools to manage and promote biodiversity commitment
The mission allowed for the development of a score to assess the actual and potential impact of actions in favor of biodiversity, as well as to structure a dashboard with priorities. It also allowed for the definition of clear actions to sustainably engage the company in favor of biodiversity.

A methodology was co-constructed and adapted to the specificities of MAIF, with an assessment of the links between companies and biodiversity.
