Context
A regional program to accelerate agricultural transition in New Aquitaine
The New Aquitaine Region and La Coopération Agricole Nouvelle-Aquitaine launched the NEOCOOP Program to help cooperatives strengthen the resilience and sustainability of agricultural operations. The need focused on supporting agricultural cooperatives to adopt more sustainable practices and to address challenges related to biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable food.

A structured support to transform agricultural practices
Vertigo Lab conducted an initial diagnosis to identify barriers and levers for change, then co-created concrete action plans tailored to the specificities of the cooperatives. Concrete actions were implemented, including training sessions, workshops, and visits, and monitoring as well as evaluation of results were ensured.

The mission allowed for the support of cooperatives with concrete actions carried out from the first year, as well as the involvement of member farmers in agroecological initiatives. It also helped strengthen the resilience of agricultural operations in the face of environmental and economic challenges.

A tailored methodology was adapted for the cooperatives, with multidisciplinary expertise mobilized around six major themes and an evolving program incorporating targeted high-impact actions.
