Commune Mesure is a platform dedicated to assessing and measuring the impacts of third places and hybrid spaces.
It supports, educates, and equips project leaders on evaluation.
After developing the social impact aspect of the platform, Commune Mesure wanted to develop its environmental impact aspect.

Develop a simple method for environmental assessment
To do this, it sought Vertigo Lab to develop a simple method to enable third place project leaders to better understand and manage their environmental impacts.
The mission consisted of enabling third place project leaders to identify the areas of environmental impact that concern them and to visualize these impacts, particularly to highlight existing positive impacts.
We therefore created a simple self-assessment tool for third place managers that allows them to position themselves in relation to all their effects on the environment.

The tool was supplemented by a methodological guide explaining the approach and facilitating its use.
Our approach has provided a clear understanding of environmental effects, which are often diffuse and poorly formalized in these types of hybrid structures.
