Transforming ideas into projects that hold the sea (and the land): about BlueSeeds

Marine conservation projects, whether led by MPAs (marine protected areas), associations, or entrepreneurs, face numerous obstacles, particularly regarding funding, which threaten their sustainability and long-term action. The Vertigo Lab team has witnessed this by supporting many marine conservation actors in recent years. To overcome these obstacles and strengthen marine environment preservation actions, we initiated a project dedicated to the sustainability of conservation projects, particularly in the Mediterranean: Blue Seeds.

Supported by Vertigo Lab for 2 years, BlueSeeds has now taken flight and become an independent structure.

From incubation to autonomy, bringing sustainable models to the forefront: about Fabaé

Fabaé aims to nourish territories from agroecological farms. Daily, Fabaé develops and cultivates farms linked to large urban areas by designing ingenious, resilient agricultural models that preserve biodiversity. Fabaé seeks to respond effectively and innovatively to the environmental and social crises in the sector. Organic farming, living soils, agroforestry, local cooperations, short circuits, and re-enchantment of agricultural professions are the key terms for the team recently established at the Le Campement incubator in Bordeaux. With a first emerging farm on a 30 ha site in the Bordeaux metropolis, Fabaé aims to accelerate this transition with other projects in the southwest of France.

Supported by Vertigo Lab for over a year, Fabaé has now taken flight and become an independent entity.
