Context
A support program for projects with a positive impact on the marine environment
Blue4Good is a support and co-development program launched by Vertigo Lab dedicated to connecting projects that have a positive impact on the marine environment with companies wishing to realize their vision of responsible development.
Blue4Good projects ensure a positive impact on the marine environment through virtuous economic activities.
To this end, Blue4Good has chosen two priority action themes:
- The preservation of blue carbon through the protection of marine ecosystems that sequester carbon, such as Posidonia meadows in the Mediterranean: Blue4Good Blue Carbon.
- The fight against marine waste through the creation of circular economy pathways aimed at minimizing contamination of the marine environment: Blue4Good Waste.

An intervention approach based on three pillars for initiatives
Our intervention approach is as follows:
- Support: through the implementation of Blue4Good projects and support for their stakeholders, participation in technical and scientific pre-project meetings, attentive listening to partners, and ensuring maximum visibility on the project's progress.
- Amplification: constant monitoring of opportunities to multiply the project's impacts through the identification of new synergies, for both the project leader and the partner.
- Impact analysis: thanks to its expertise, Blue4Good is capable of providing an ad hoc analysis of the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of Blue4Good projects.

Ensuring the economic sustainability of projects
Blue4Good supports project leaders in developing an economic sustainability program.
This sustainability involves identifying various funding sources.
To this end, Blue4Good invites companies to engage in virtuous "blue" projects.
From projects already outlined in search of financial support to the co-development of a specific project, Blue4Good commits to working alongside the company to provide a true toolbox that allows them to find a project that meets their wishes and engagement priorities.
The Port-Cros National Park and the French sector for recycling used fishing nets Fil & Fab have been supported.
