Context
Structuring a carbon trajectory for a protected natural site
The Reserve has initiated a transformation plan to sustainably improve its environmental and societal impacts. The need focused on establishing the Carbon Footprint 2023 as well as defining a trajectory for 2030 that is consistent with this plan, by assessing the robustness of the assumptions, identifying the main sources of emissions, highlighting improvement levers, and defining concrete actions to structure the reduction strategy.

A complete carbon footprint to guide the reduction strategy
Vertigo Lab collected and analyzed the data, formulated hypotheses, and calculated emissions according to the ADEME Carbon Balance methodology to complete its Carbon Balance for the year 2023. Additionally, we prepared its prospective Carbon Balance as part of the implementation of its transformation plan by 2030.
We also conducted a critical analysis of the reserve's transformation plan concerning carbon issues, focusing on climate and financial dimensions. Prospective scenarios were constructed, and associated carbon trajectories were defined, along with a communication plan.
