Impact evaluation of sustainable food initiatives in Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Context
Equipping stakeholders in New Aquitaine to better showcase their food initiatives
The New Aquitaine Region and the PQN-A network have supported sustainable food project leaders and aimed to provide a tool to assess their social and ecological impacts. The need was for a simple and practical tool to self-assess and showcase their impact to their stakeholders.
service
An evaluation grid designed to measure the utility of projects
Vertigo Lab developed a tool to measure the social and ecological utility of food initiatives, then tested the tool, ensured its follow-up, and improved the grid. A dissemination strategy was developed through workshops and webinars.
BENEFITS
Project leaders better equipped to manage and showcase their impact
The mission allowed for the proposal of a simple and effective grid, structured around four key dimensions, as well as practical recommendations to maximize the use and dissemination of the tool. It also enabled project leaders to better showcase their impact and strengthen their initiatives.
