Since its establishment, the University of Corsica has played a key role in the economic and social development of the island. However, its overall contribution has remained unknown and required an evaluation to demonstrate its scope and highlight its impact. The need focused on evaluating the economic and social impacts of the University to shed light on its role in supporting the local economy and its ability to structure the territory.

A comprehensive analysis to objectify the impacts of the University of Corsica
Vertigo Lab analyzed the economic impacts, then conducted a survey and assessed the impacts. The local jobs supported were qualified, and the role of the University in the economic development of Corsica was analyzed.

The mission highlighted the University’s contribution to the economic and social development of the island, as well as produced concrete figures and arguments to strengthen its legitimacy with stakeholders and partners.
