Context
Building a model to anticipate food resilience in Nouvelle-Aquitaine
The MIRE project, Integrated Resilience Model, addressed the challenges identified by ADEME within the framework of the Transitions 2050 initiative and aimed to strengthen the resilience of food systems in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The need focused on developing an integrated model to assess the food resilience of territories in order to guide strategic decision-making and evaluate Territorial Food Projects.

An analytical model to inform territorial food policies
Vertigo Lab conducted a methodological framework and proposed resilience indicators, then developed and applied the food resilience model. Scenario simulations were carried out to assess the impact of territorial policies.

Anticipatory tools to manage food systems
The mission allowed for the proposal of a prospective tool to anticipate vulnerabilities and threats to food systems, as well as support for decision-making for sustainable territorial food policies.
