Context

Reduce a territory's vulnerability to external dependencies

The Grand Douaisis SCOT aimed to become a Territory of Environmental and Energy Excellence, but its economy remained vulnerable to supply risks for resources and products. There was a need to design a common strategy to reduce dependence on imports and optimize the management of natural resources.

An analysis of flows to build a resilience strategy

Vertigo Lab analyzed material flows to establish a baseline, then co-constructed prospective scenarios to guide the policies to be implemented. An action plan was developed to strengthen the autonomy and resilience of the territory.

BENEFITS

Concrete levers to secure supplies

The mission identified sectoral vulnerabilities to supply risks, as well as proposed scenarios for the evolution of consumption and waste management in the short and long term. It also defined a concrete action plan to structure a materials strategy aligned with the territory's challenges.

The + Vertigo Lab

A forward-looking approach integrating scenarios was mobilized, with the ability to transform complex analyses into concrete action plans.
